Pardines in Peru

Teaching others also...
through church planting and discipleship

Our Mission

A call to make disciples

Our main mission as a family is to fulfill the Great Commission by planting the seeds of the Gospel, watering them, and watching them grow through the ministry of discipleship so that they will bear fruit that remains.  This daunting task requires much planning, prayer, and patience, but the reward is eternal.

Go ye therefore...

God tells us to go and preach the gospel. Following His call to missions led us to the field of Peru.  We feel that God is now leading us to begin a new ministry in the mountains of Peru where both Spanish and Quechua Biblical training are greatly needed.

 and teach all nations...

Pastors and church leaders in the mountains of Peru desire more Bible training.  Upon our return to Peru we will be working alongside the Urubamba Baptist Seminary outside of Cuzco where men and women from the mountains and jungle regions come to study God’s Word.

baptizing them...

Many times souls are saved as a result of Gospel preaching but then left adrift in a world that knows not Christ.  Idolatry and false doctrine abound in the country of Peru where Catholicism reigns as the leading religion.  After salvation, good sound doctrine must be taught to the new believer so that he may follow in obedience after Christ.

teaching them to observe all things...

Many churches in Peru are filled with spiritual needs:  Christians swept away by cults because they lack a firm doctrinal foundation, leaders hungry for more training, and an absence of laborers to disciple new believers.  Our goal is not just to see churches planted and then watch them wither up and die.  We purpose to help churches grow in their faith. The task of making disciples never ends.

Through the ministry of the Seminary and discipleship programs in the local church we are committing ourselves to help train nationals to fulfill the Great Commission and to bear fruit that remains.
